Unfortunately that is a lie that Satan has perpetuated since the beginning of time. If God would not have wanted us to experience wholeness and fullness of life, Jesus would never have come to earth. We can trust the words that Jesus shared, “You can have real life, more life, and better life than you ever expected."
Alive Again, is a ministry that has the vision of helping people be alive in Christ! This life is a free gift of God and we want to help people claim their gift! Sometimes, life experiences cause pain and anguish that blocks our reception of the true life God wants us to experience. Alive Again can help you find God’s life for YOU!

About Vickie In 1998 I found myself backed into a corner. I had secretly been having panic attacks for seven years and they were becoming so severe it was harder and harder to hide them. At that time I entered Christian counseling with Sheldon Swartz of Life Development Associates. I spent much time and energy facing and dealing with many painful things from my past. In time I began to experience freedom and find hope “in the darkness”. |
In 2000 I began to casually share my story with others and enter their story with them. I also began leading recovery groups for victims of childhood sexual abuse.
I currently have been leading groups for 7 years (including a group for widows) and have been involved in one on one ministry for issues of abuse, grief, depression, addiction and spiritual issues. I have been trained in Elijah House Prayer Ministry by John and Paula Sandford; SALTS (Survivors of Abuse Leadership Training Seminar), Theophostics and The Wounded Heart Training by Dr. Dan Allender and Formational Counseling by Dr. Terry Wardle.
I am the Minister of Counsel and Care at Jefferson Brethren Church. I oversee and am involved in recovery ministry, women’s ministry, visitation and program directing.
