Jesus said, “Let the children come to me. Don’t stop them! For the Kingdom of God belongs to those who are like these children.” Then he took the children in his arms and placed his hands on their heads and blessed them. (Mark 10:14-16)

- Build a strong Biblical foundation and help kids meet Christ, accept Christ, grow in Christ and bring others to Christ.

Nursery care and Children’s Church are provided for children infants through Kindergarten during 10:45 AM Worship Service.
Our L.I.F.E. (Live In Faith Excitably) Sunday School for ages 3 through Grade 5 meets at 9:30 AM on Sundays. Kids are excited to learn God’s Word through hands-on activities in rotating workshops.
Trekkers and Mini Trekkers for ages 4 through Grade 5 explore God’s Word on Wednesdays at 6:30 PM.
The highlight of the Christmas season for kids at JBC is the presentation of the Christmas story in a musical format. All kids age 4-grade 5 participate in a musical complete with costumes, simple choreography, scenery and actors and actresses! What a great way to celebrate Christ’s birth!

Nursery
We are pleased to provide care for your infant or toddler during services. Our nursery is intended to provide a safe, loving environment for your children. We hope that you will entrust your children to our care so you may worship and fellowship without distraction.
Children, ages 3 through Kindergarten, learn together at Children’s Church during the 10:45 AM service. They all come to the sanctuary for the Children’s Story but then they return to the Lower Level for Noah’s Park Children’s Church. Puppets Ponder, the wise frog, and his friends, Dreamer, Honk & Stretch give an introduction to the story for the day, then kids learn about it and do hands on activities to put the lessons into practice.

L.I.F.E. Sunday School
Kids are excited to come to Sunday School to learn from God’s Word through rotating workshops (WORM: Workshop Rotation Method). Each month one story is explored through several different types of activities such as cooking, video, art, drama, games, puppets or computer. This type of in-depth learning emphasizes practical application to the students’ lives.
GOD'S TREKKERS...Exploring God's Word!
A fun way to "hide God's Word in your heart!"
Wednesdays, 6:30 - 7:45 PM, September through April
TREKKERS . . . Kids in grades 1- 5 are invited to learn more about God by studying and memorizing scripture. Trekkers learn at their own pace in small groups called "spaceships." Awards are an important part of the motivation for learning. The Trekker receives his awards for the tasks he has mastered at the Court of Knowledge which is held in the presence of the congregation twice a year. God's Trekkers is a fun way to learn God's word! Songs, games, lessons and musicals are all tools that are used to help the children learn. The principles that are learned will stay with them for a lifetime. We’re getting our kids into God’s Word so we can get God’s Word into our kids!

Mini Trekkers
Children ages four through Kindergarten are not too young to learn God's Word! The Minis also hide God's Word in their hearts by learning songs and verses that are age appropriate. The children are then prepared to become Trekkers when they start first grade.
